Tourist signage

Segnaletica

What is it?
The system of tourist signs accompanies visitors from the park & ride lots to the Tourist Information Office in the Estense Castle. From here these signs break down the visit to the city into 5 theme-based itineraries, making touring easier. The signs, maps, information panels near the main monuments make it easier for the driver to get about the city after they leave their cars, thus enhancing the quality of the city, a UNESCO world heritage site.

In March 2012 there was made a further intervention that has provided for the replacement of 30 panels, PVC material, with tables with the new digital printing incorporated (MEG Digital print), able to provide a greater resistance to vandalism and repeated cleaning of the panels.
In particular, have been replaced: 6 planks general, 3 planks orientation, 5 Tables and 16 Plank thematic orientation.
Also added were a plank and three tables are built to MEG Digital print, showing the signs for the new National Museum of Italian Judaism and the Shoah in Via Piangipane.
