Ferrara T.U.A. is a corporation entirely financed by public capital. It is subject to management and coordination by Holding Ferrara Servizi Srl.

The corporate goals, aimed at improving city traffic services through management of the Ferrara city parking areas, moves in line with the overall goals of modernizing the mobility network in the Estense city.

Ferrara T.U.A. guarantees its services, both in the parking facilities and in the regulated parking areas along the city streets, offering its users efficient services able to meet their needs.

The company is also investing major capital in upgrading parking lot security and introducing new technologies to enhance and modernize parking services. A remote video control system guarantees the safety of the users and their vehicles within each parking lot and new payment instruments are simplifying and speeding up the process.

Implementation of the City of Ferrara's "Parking Plan" — which boasts the largest pedestrian-only zone in Europe — has introduced important changes in the circulation and parking of vehicles within the urban sphere.

The new regulations are aimed at reordering traffic flow in the center of the city, seeking to meet the demand for parking and, at the same, reduce the pollution caused by the high number of vehicles in circulation.
